Crystal Bachleda Introduces Readers to a Dark and Enchanting Faery Realm in The Romance of the Rose: Till 1

Tomah, Wisconsin Sep 17, 2026 (Issuewire.com) - First-time author Crystal Bachleda invites readers into a mysterious world where fairytales take a darker turn with the release of The Romance of the Rose: Till 1, the first novella in her Dark Erotic Fairytale Chronicles.

Blending dark historical fantasy, mythic supernatural elements, monsters, and mature romance, The Romance of the Rose: Till 1 follows a young woman whose journey with her friends takes an unexpected turn when they become trapped in the dangerous realms of Faery.

What begins as an adventure quickly becomes a perilous quest. After her friends are deceived, cursed, and scattered across different Faery realms, the heroine must navigate an unfamiliar supernatural world while making difficult sacrifices in her determination to find and save them.

Her journey becomes even more complicated when she captures the attention of a powerful and dangerous werewolf lord and his companion. As she struggles against the forces surrounding her, she finds herself drawn deeper into the mysterious rulers and dark enchantments of Faery. Her quest ultimately leads her toward a final challenge where the consequences of failure could change everything.

Rather than following the conventions of traditional fairytales, Bachleda explores a more mysterious and mature interpretation of the genre, combining supernatural mythology with romance, danger, temptation, and adventure.

"I wanted to try writing something different and unique," Bachleda explains. "I wanted to experiment with Dark-Historical Fantasies, Mythic-Supernatural and Monster Erotica-Erotic Romance and see what kind of story I could create."

Bachleda lives in Westfield, Massachusetts, with her father and her dog. The Romance of the Rose: Till 1 marks her debut as a published writer, and she is currently working on expanding the story and developing more of its dark fantasy world.

As a first-time author, Bachleda is beginning to build her presence in the literary community. She has already participated in an interview with Logan Crawford and hopes to connect with more readers and media outlets as she continues her writing journey.

"I hope my readers will find The Romance of the Rose: Till 1 interesting and will look forward to reading more," Bachleda says.

With its blend of Faery mythology, supernatural creatures, dark fantasy, adventure, and mature romance, The Romance of the Rose: Till 1 offers readers a different take on the familiar fairytale, one where beauty and danger exist side by side, and every choice comes with a price.
